Kaum jemand verbindet Musikstile wie Jazz, Soul und auch Pop wie Nina Braith! Die junge Sängerin, die auf der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Wien studiert, präsentiert coole Jazz Standards ebenso wie heiße soulige Musik, geschmückt von einigen Eigenkompositionen von ihr selbst und der Pianistin Julia Klavacs (Fidelio Preisträgerin 2009). Das breitgefächerte Programm wird von der ?PH TourBand?, unter der Leitung von Peter Hübl, untermalt und bringt die Hallen zum Swingen. Backdoor Blues Band the "Backdoor Blues Band" are known to play authentic Chicago Blues in the traditional style of Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf, Sonny Boy Williamson, Elmore James etc. Their sound is dominated by Peter Samek's unique and outstanding "black" voice as well as his excellent harp and slide playing. The tight backbone is provided by "Fred" Silldorf (b) and Gunther Glöckner (dr), while Hans Wuketich (git) and Erich Vogt (p,hammond) contribute their fills and solos. Their latest highlight on stage was the 2008 "Roaring Sixties Festival" at Wiesen (Austria) with such legends as The Animals, Them, The Troggs and The Yardbirds. Although they enjoy playing to large festival audiences, they prefer the intimacy of clubs, where they are definitely at their best and where you are most likely to hear them.
